The Wait is Over – the #ARIVENCHY Campaign is Here

It’s been two months since we were first teased with the announcement of Ariana Grande’s Givenchy campaign. Left only with the swish of the singer’s full-bodied ponytail, pearly headband, Audrey Hepburn à la Breakfast at Tiffany’s LBD and immaculately manicured hand on hip back in May, accompanied by the provocative #ARIVENCHY. Well, today is the day Arianators. Hold on to your scrunchies as the french house reveals their AW19 campaign fronted by the Grammy-award winning singer.

Wearing her hair in a signature sleek pony and a graphic sweeping flick of winged eyeliner decorating her lashline, Grande is captured by Craig McDean in keeping with the tradition of “the Givenchy sitting” portraits radiating the archetypal empowered yet elegant essence of the Givenchy woman. Shot in a shoulderless embellished, dark and dramatic puffball-sleeved top and pair of trousers in a monochromatic image, making coy eye contact over her shoulder with the camera. In the second she regally gazes into the distance, wearing a lush card table green tailored suit and matching trousers, holding the Eden statement bag (in chic black croc and gold hardware) in the crook of her crossed arm. Channelling pure savoir-faire glamour, she’s the embodiment of the Thank U, Next sass we all aspire to. #Arivenchy is a lifestyle.
