Emilio Pucci: Ready-to-wear SS17
A grey space for Emilio Pucci SS17. Lit with harsh industrial lights. And then appearing around the corner a flash of colour. Yellow to be specific. The kind of yellow you’d expect to find under your chin if you held a buttercup there. Not a mellow yellow, and certainly not a mellow dress either. In the lightest chiffon, hugging the body in all the right places. And so followed more of the same dresses in a variety of colours. Power pink, bold red, cyan, you name it. But, what about the print you may ask? Pucci always has print. And of course, there was plenty of print. A visit back to original Pucci prints apparently. Which reminded us of cruising in an open top Land Rover on a safari tour. And those hats. Like Cousin It perched on top of two of the model’s heads. Perfect for protecting the face from the harsh Serengeti sunshine. So pack a pouch full of Pucci prints, and don’t forget the tranquilliser gun.
