Joseph: Ready-to-wear AW16

There’s something ever so slightly feral about Joseph this season. An underlying ferocity. Sort of like a Kate Bush song in clothing form. Which might have something to do with the hair, but it might also have something to do with the clothes. So think volume, think length, think sludgy English countryside colours in layers of thick wool, cuffs and hems frayed and trailing. Sleeves are too long and trousers wide. Volume is tamed via the introduction of tiny bustiers worn over ever expanding knits at once both barely containing and emphasising the extremeness of scale below.
