Rocky meets Golden Girls. Well, that’s what we’ve overheard and you know what, that sounds about right. The boxing came through in the high elasticated waists, reminiscent of those found on boxing shorts and the furry head bands with little flaps covering the ears of a boxer’s head gear. The Golden Girls came through in the florals, the pastel tones toward the end and the rope like belts wound around the waits that gave this a slight oriental edge. Pinstripes covered shard suiting, wide trousers that flared a little as the models walked, sharp shouldered jackets worn under even sharper shouldered coats that were worn flung over the shoulders. Arms were free. Free to swing. Like a whirring windmill says Ted. In the rushing wind no less. A quick note on the tights, they may have footless but this is neither footloose nor fancy free. This is business boxing. Don King reincarnated as a lady. Minus the crazy hair.
