Moschino: Ready-to-wear AW16
Feeling hot hot hot. The Moschino girl always is – in fact, this season, so hot she burst into flames. That only happened at the end – she was kind of hot before in tight leather skirts and skinny jean shorts and bustiers slung over with great swathes of knotted silk taffeta tugged loosely into boss at the front. The saleable stuff – alongside oversized sweatshirts patterned with the Moschino logo like a carton of cigarettes and with filtered ciggies dangling as earrings. That was all Jeremy Scott got busy with the blowtorch and scorched decorative holes in his silk ball gowns and sheath dresses, his ruffle-fronted shirts and tuxedo jackets. Maybe those all got roasted, thematically, by the chandelier dress that emerged towards the end? Only Jeremy can tell us. To borrow the parlance of friend of the house Paris Hilton: that’s hot.
