Prada Presents Ultravision For AW18

If we were superheroes our super suits would be Prada and we would see the world through Ultravision. It’s the way the heroines of the Pradasphere view their hyper-coloured world, fighting fashion crime by night. In the next instalment of the Prada Autumn/Winter 2018 365 campaign, the women of the Prada world Mica Argañaraz, Sarah Fraser, Amanda Murphy, Sasha Pivovarova, Amber Valletta, Liu Wen, Kiki Willems and Anok Yai make up a new Avengers style team, women who glow in neon colours and move silently and stealthily through a fluorescent sign filled night. Well, Miuccia Prada did tell us backstage at the show that the neon hits were “for the strength of women going out in the violence.” Our superhero theme music would be a fast paced electric guitar riff as we fly through the night sky in flaming hot heels and flashes of fluorescent nylon and plastic tiered dresses. We will need our ventures captured comic book style, obvs. It’s like Batman once said: “It’s not who I am underneath, but what I do that defines me.” But we’re women in Prada so it’s who we are and what we wear that defines us. And that’s Prada. Fearless, free, fabulous. Nothing gets us going like a Prada campaign.
