Roksanda: Ready-to-wear AW16
You know those harlequin marionettes, that slightly sad clown? Well, Roksanda was kind of like that, but through a prism of 70’s occult. There was a slight mystical, almost witchy feel to this in the star and moon prints and swirls of paisley. Soft ruffled collars were tied at the neck with black ribbon and topped long dresses of velvet in rich autumnal hues. Printed chiffon sleeves billowed in a sort of witchy, casting a spell over a cauldron way while princess coats with little fur collars were layered over floor skimming bias cut silks.
